| In this activity, students will compare the amount of time it takes a sugar cube to dissolve in different water temperatures. Using a temperature sensor, students will collect the time and temperature of the sugar cube dissolving in water temperature of 5°C, 25° C, and 35° C. | |
| After the calculator creates a scatter plot of the data that was collected, students will analyze the data using a linear regression line. They will answer the questions on the student worksheet about what the values in the regression equation represent and determine temperatures given the time is takes a cube to dissolve. |
